Georgia Southern announces graduates for Fall 2016 Commencement Ceremony
The 25th annual Georgia Southern Fall 2016 Commencement Ceremony represented a momentous day as approximately 1,700 of Georgia's best and brightest undergraduate and graduate students received degrees from the University's eight colleges. Approximately 400 graduate degrees were conferred, while around 1,300 undergraduate students received degrees.

The University of North Georgia awarded more than 800 degrees for the fall 2016 semester, including hundreds awarded in commencement exercises held Dec. 16-17 at the university. "We are here to honor you with the richest tradition in the academic community - a commencement ceremony," UNG President Bonita Jacobs said before conferring degrees. "We all know what it took for you to reach this moment. We know that, as graduates of UNG, you will add meaning and value to the lives of those around you. Our hopes and dreams are with you. University of North Georgia announces President's Lists for fall 2016
University of North Georgia President Bonita Jacobs recognizes more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the fall 2016 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

Patriots Come up Short in MSC Semifinals
The University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team couldn't overcome a four goal deficit as they fell to fourth-ranked Lindsey Wilson 5-2 in the semifinals of the Mid-South Conference tournament Thursday afternoon at East Warren High School. With the win the Blue Raiders improve to 14-3, while the Patriots conclude their season with a 10-9-1 record.

Gadd's Career Day Leads Patriots to 3-0 Win over Shawnee State
Dakota Gadd (SR/Berea, KY) recorded her first career hat trick to help lead the University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Shawnee State in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference tournament Thursday night at East Warren High School. With the win the Patriots advance to the semifinals next Thursday against Lindsey Wilson.

Patriots Earn Fourth Seed in Mid-South Tournament
In his second year at the helm, head coach Stephan Hamilton has led the University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team to a 9-8-1 overall record including a 3-3-1 mark to earn the fourth seed in the Mid-South Conference tournament. The Patriots will face fifth-seed Shawnee State on Thursday, November 3, at 8:30 p.m. with the games being played at Warren East High School in Bowling Green, KY.

UC Women's Soccer looked for back-to-back Mid-South Conference wins on Tuesday as they traveled to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Patriots would find the back of the net early and often on their way to an 8-0 shutout victory, moving their overall record to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in MSC play.

Women's Soccer Falls Short Against Phoenix in Conference Play
UC Women's Soccer hosted the fifteenth-ranked Phoenix of Cumberland University on Tuesday as they looked for the upset in Mid-South Conference action. The Patriots would have multiple opportunities at a goal, but a lone goal early into the second half from CU would send the Phoenix to victory over UC 1-0, moving the Patriots to 7-7 overall and 1-3 in MSC play.

The University of the Cumberlands women's soccer team is set to face sixth-ranked Lindsey Wilson in Mid-South Conference action Friday night at 8 p.m. at the Patriots Soccer Complex. Last year Lindsey Wilson defeated the Patriots 6-1.

Women's Soccer Near Upset of #8 Redhawks Squandered By Late Goal
The UC Women's Soccer team entered Saturday's contest looking for their first win over a NAIA Top 10 team in over a decade. They would host the eighth-ranked RedHawks of Martin Methodist College (MMC) for a matchup, and the Patriots would give Martin Methodist all they could ask for. A late goal for the RedHawks though would seal a 2-1 victory over the Patriots, moving UC to 7-4 overall on the season.
